You Need Light To See Color

Scientifically you actually do!

Metaphorically too!

I can’t imagine a life with the absence of art or color… With art all around, the aesthetic of each day is greater than a colorless world!

Did you know that objects do not possess color?

They reflect wavelengths of light that are seen as color by the human brain.

The human eye and brain together translate light into color. Light receptors in the eye transmit messages to the brain, which produce sensations of color.

If you always see the dark side of things you’re missing out on the bright world out there. I can always tell when I’m in a funk and the world seems colorless. I’ll find myself being busy or stressed and searching for the light to see in color again!
